Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate federal healthcare policies using advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Lead interagency working groups on healthcare reform initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for senior leadership
- Analyze emerging healthcare trends and their implications for federal programs
- Represent the department at congressional hearings and stakeholder forums
- Mentor junior analysts and develop department-wide policy frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience with healthcare focus
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SAS, R, Stata)
- Demonstrated success in developing legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks
- Expertise in healthcare policy compliance (HIPAA, ACA, Medicare/Medicaid)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for high-stakes presentations
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
