Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive economic impact assessments for major development projects
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks affecting business growth
- Collaborate with city officials, private sector partners, and community stakeholders
- Design data-driven policy recommendations for workforce development initiatives
- Manage grant applications and compliance reporting for federal/state programs
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams on economic resilience planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and coalition building
- Knowledge of Louisiana's economic development incentives and programs
- Experience with federal grant administration (e.g., EDA, HUD)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
