Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and evaluate complex state policies and their socioeconomic impacts
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for legislative review and implementation

- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes affecting North Carolina communities
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders and public interest groups
- Manage policy implementation projects ensuring alignment with state strategic goals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sectors
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations for state-level implementation
- Deep understanding of North Carolina's legislative process and regulatory frameworks
