Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban development data and trends to inform policy recommendations
- Lead cross-functional task forces on housing and infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive legislative briefs and impact assessments for congressional review
- Coordinate with state/local governments and stakeholder organizations
- Develop evidence-based policy solutions addressing equitable community development
- Oversee implementation of federal grant programs with $50M+ annual budgets
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years progressive policy analysis experience in government sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals and regulatory frameworks
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of federal grant administration processes
