Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance
- Collaborate with 20+ state agencies to develop cohesive policy frameworks
- Prepare executive briefings, legislative reports, and public testimony documents
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes and assess operational impacts
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement policy reforms
- Present findings to the Governor's Office and Cabinet members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislation or administrative rules
- Expert knowledge of Florida's Sunshine Law and public records regulations
- Professional certification in public policy (e.g., PPFA) preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license
