Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive public safety reports for city council and community stakeholders
- Coordinate with police/fire departments to implement evidence-based safety initiatives
- Manage grant applications and compliance documentation for federal/state funding
- Present findings to public officials and community groups using data visualization tools
- Stay current with public safety technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Data Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in public safety analytics or government compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and GIS mapping software
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of CA Public Records Act and data privacy regulations
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state reporting requirements
- Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences
