Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for county commissioners
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using demographic, economic, and social data
- Coordinate with 25+ county departments to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to public officials and community stakeholders
- Develop performance metrics to track policy outcomes
- Lead cross-functional task forces on housing, transportation, and economic development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, Stata, or SPSS)
- Expertise in Texas local government regulations
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
