Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based transportation policies for Baltimore metropolitan area
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local government agencies and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Oversee cross-functional project teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Monitor federal/state funding opportunities and grant applications
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research using advanced analytical methods
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in transportation policy or government operations
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python, Tableau)
- Experience with Maryland DOT regulations and procurement processes
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- US citizenship required for government clearance
