Responsibilities
- Research and analyze state/federal policies impacting economic development
- Develop policy recommendations for legislative initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional government teams
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and adjust strategies
- Represent the department in public forums and hearings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public policy experience
- Advanced knowledge of Tennessee legislative processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Experience with grant administration preferred
