Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using advanced statistical methods
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop implementation strategies
- Prepare legislative briefings and executive reports for decision-makers
- Monitor federal regulations and assess impacts on New York State
- Mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Expertise in quantitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Proven ability to navigate complex legislative processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- NY State residency required within 90 days of hire
