Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth policy research and impact analysis for city-wide initiatives
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement strategic objectives
- Present findings to stakeholders and elected officials through compelling reports
- Monitor legislative developments and assess implications for DC policies
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations
- Manage complex datasets to inform evidence-based decision making
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with DC government operations and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
