Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for senior officials and council members
- Coordinate interagency initiatives on housing, transportation, and sustainability
- Monitor legislative developments and assess potential impacts on DC residents
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations
- Develop quantitative models to evaluate policy outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of policy research and recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative research methods and data visualization
- Proficient in DC government regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Experience with GIS software preferred
