Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct stakeholder consultations with public/private entities
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Ohio's interests
- Collaborate with cross-functional government teams
- Present findings to legislative committees and agency leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Ohio residency required at time of hire
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Experience with Ohio Revised Code and state budget processes
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
