Responsibilities
- Analyze state legislation, regulations, and emerging policy trends to assess impacts on Philadelphia region
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for agency leadership
- Coordinate with stakeholders including legislators, community organizations, and federal partners
- Design data-driven evaluation frameworks for policy effectiveness
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Lead cross-functional task forces on urgent policy initiatives
- Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania's Sunshine Act and open records requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Deep understanding of Pennsylvania's legislative process and state governance structures
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level experience
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
- Knowledge of Philadelphia's urban policy landscape preferred
