Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with local/state/federal health agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Oversee grant compliance and budget allocation for health initiatives
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare reports for legislative bodies and executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with CDC and state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health management experience
- Valid Texas Public Health Administrator certification
- Proven experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish (required)
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong project management with PMP certification preferred
