Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health datasets to identify emerging trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies for chronic disease prevention
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives with local and federal partners
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative stakeholders and public dissemination
- Lead community health assessment projects across diverse North Carolina regions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, NC Public Health laws, and federal reporting standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health analysis experience in government or non-profit setting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
