Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health emergency response protocols
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Coordinate with FEMA, CDC, and state health departments during crisis situations
- Manage grant-funded health programs ($2M+ annual budget)
- Train frontline healthcare workers on pandemic response procedures
- Prepare comprehensive public health impact assessments
- Lead community health education campaigns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology required
- 5+ years experience in government/public health sector
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R for health data analysis
- Experience with federal grant management (HRSA, CDC)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Emergency management certification desirable
