Responsibilities
- Analyze complex health data trends to identify emerging public health threats and opportunities
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention programs for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design health policy recommendations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and data visualizations for stakeholders and public officials
- Manage community outreach initiatives to promote health equity and access
- Oversee grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead emergency response coordination during public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health analysis or research
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Strong knowledge of CDC and TN Department of Health protocols
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
