Responsibilities
- Design and implement population health surveillance systems using GIS mapping and epidemiological models
- Analyze health data to identify emerging disease trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-agency responses to public health emergencies
- Develop community outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Manage federal grant applications and compliance reporting
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise data collection teams
- Present findings to city council and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of government/public health experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with Oklahoma public health systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
