Responsibilities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize county health initiatives
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions and policy recommendations
- Lead cross-departmental projects addressing health equity and social determinants
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and stakeholder presentations
- Manage grant-funded health programs with $1M+ budgets
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate interagency health coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health analysis experience in government/nonprofit settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Proven experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) preferred
