Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions using epidemiological data and community feedback
- Analyze complex health trends to inform policy recommendations for vulnerable populations
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives addressing health disparities through data visualization and reporting
- Develop grant proposals and manage budgets for public health programs
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and healthcare providers to ensure program alignment
- Present findings to County leadership and public health boards
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to departmental strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing and budget management
- Knowledge of California public health regulations and Title VI compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience leading community engagement initiatives
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) preferred
