Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and disease outbreaks
- Develop evidence-based public health interventions and policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response planning
- Prepare comprehensive reports for government stakeholders and the public
- Manage grant-funded projects related to community health initiatives
- Maintain compliance with CDC and state health department regulations
- Lead community outreach programs to promote health equity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or epidemiology
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Valid California driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with health data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality laws
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
