Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological research and data analysis to identify public health trends and priorities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs for vulnerable populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate health education initiatives
- Manage public health grants and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Present findings to diverse stakeholders including government agencies and community groups
- Monitor emerging health threats and coordinate response strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program analysis or research
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal public health regulations
- Experience developing health equity initiatives for underserved communities
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate complex health concepts to non-technical audiences
