Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions for Fresno County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Develop grant proposals securing $500K+ in state/federal funding
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives with local government partners
- Create educational materials for diverse communities (English/Spanish)
- Lead crisis response protocols for public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff through specialized training programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of government/public health experience
- California Public Health Analyst certification (or eligible)
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/SPSS and data visualization tools
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish required
- Demonstrated grant-writing success with state/funding agencies
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with Title X/Medicaid program compliance
