Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Secure and manage federal/state grant funding for public health initiatives
- Develop educational materials and community outreach campaigns for diverse populations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies to implement collaborative health strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies including CDC and FDOH
- Lead emergency preparedness planning for public health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean record
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance requirements
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives and CMS regulations
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation required
