Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Develop comprehensive health equity programs for vulnerable populations in Detroit
- Collaborate with state legislators and local health departments on policy implementation
- Manage federal grant budgets exceeding $1M for community health initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health analysis experience in government or non-profit settings
- Advanced proficiency in SAS/R for statistical analysis
- Experience with CDC grant management and reporting protocols
- Valid Michigan driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
