Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health surveillance systems to monitor disease trends and community health indicators
- Analyze complex health data to identify disparities and recommend targeted interventions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for county leadership and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on health equity and preventive care initiatives
- Lead community outreach programs to educate residents on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Experience with public health program evaluation and policy development
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to multiple county sites
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and ethical data handling standards
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation preferred
