Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using epidemiological data and stakeholder feedback
- Lead interagency task forces on health emergencies and chronic disease prevention
- Analyze health disparities across Tucson's diverse communities
- Prepare federal grant applications and compliance reports
- Present policy recommendations to city council and community boards
- Coordinate with Pima County Health Department on regional initiatives
- Maintain compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes Title 36
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Experience with federal grant writing (HRSA, CDC, SAMHSA)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Knowledge of ACA and public health emergency frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
