Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive public health policies aligned with state and federal regulations
- Analyze healthcare data trends to inform strategic decision-making for at-risk populations
- Collaborate with federal agencies (CDC, HRSA) and Ohio partners on cross-state health initiatives
- Prepare legislative briefs and testimony for state policymakers
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local governments
- Oversee implementation of grant-funded health programs across North Carolina
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and ACA regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance for sensitive data access
