Responsibilities
- Analyze health data trends to inform state policy recommendations
- Develop evidence-based public health intervention strategies
- Collaborate with local health departments on implementation plans
- Prepare legislative briefings and testimony for state officials
- Manage grant-funded health equity initiatives
- Conduct community needs assessments in underserved areas
- Monitor compliance with federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced statistical software proficiency (R/SAS)
- Illinois residency required
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with CDC/HRSA grant programs
- Knowledge of Affordable Care Act provisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills
