Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting Chicago communities
- Manage $5M+ annual budgets and oversee grant compliance for federal/state initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams of epidemiologists, health educators, and data analysts
- Develop partnerships with healthcare providers, local governments, and community organizations
- Present program outcomes to state legislators and federal health officials
- Ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance and maintain robust data security protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health program management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Project Management (PMP) preferred
- Expertise in health equity initiatives and culturally competent program design
- Proficiency with public health data systems (e.g., Epi-Info, SAS, Tableau)
- Experience managing federal/state grants with complex reporting requirements
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel statewide
