Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions for Baltimore County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and priority populations
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to coordinate outreach initiatives
- Develop health education materials and lead community workshops on disease prevention
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and recommend policy adjustments
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Supervise junior staff and coordinate inter-departmental health projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive public health experience in government or non-profit setting
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and program management
- Strong knowledge of Maryland public health regulations and initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
