Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Lead epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance initiatives
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits
- Prepare and present data-driven reports to county leadership and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to departmental strategic planning
- Respond to public health emergencies and coordinate crisis response efforts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing and management
- Knowledge of Arizona public health regulations and Title X requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse community populations
- Valid Arizona driver's license
