Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead epidemiological investigations and outbreak response protocols
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to design health education initiatives
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee health equity initiatives addressing social determinants of health
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities with local healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC/HRSA)
- Demonstrated success in community coalition building
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred
