Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy challenges and develop evidence-based solutions
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on housing, transportation, and economic development
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with community leaders and federal/state agencies
- Manage project budgets and compliance requirements
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments
- Mentor junior analysts and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or nonprofit policy experience
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proven track record of successful policy implementation
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Georgia state regulations and Atlanta municipal codes
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
