Responsibilities
- Manage confidential veteran records and documentation systems with precision
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and scheduling for senior leadership
- Process federal forms, reimbursements, and procurement requests within GSA guidelines
- Support grant administration and compliance reporting for VA programs
- Implement and maintain electronic filing systems under FOIA standards
- Train staff on federal administrative protocols and software tools
- Prepare monthly performance metrics and operational reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of federal administrative experience with GS-5/GS-7 level duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases (e.g., VA VISTA)
- Knowledge of GSA travel regulations and procurement procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Exceptional written communication for official correspondence and reports
- Experience managing sensitive veteran health information (PHI)
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex administrative workflows
