Responsibilities
- Analyze complex municipal data to identify policy trends and recommend actionable solutions
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for City Council review
- Coordinate inter-agency initiatives addressing homelessness prevention and affordable housing
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups and nonprofit partners
- Oversee grant applications and compliance for federal/state funding programs
- Prepare testimony and legislative analyses for public hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven track record of developing equity-focused policies
- California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) eligibility
- Valid California driver's license
