Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of $10M+ public infrastructure projects
- Oversee contract administration and vendor compliance
- Develop sustainable engineering solutions for urban challenges
- Manage cross-functional teams including architects and environmental specialists
- Ensure compliance with California environmental regulations
- Present technical proposals to county commissioners and community stakeholders
- Implement digital transformation in engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of progressive public works experience
- PE license in California
- Expertise in CAD/BIM and GIS technologies
- Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of CA Title 24 and Green Building standards
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with federal grant applications and compliance
