Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) with precision
- Install/repair water mains, sewer lines, and drainage systems
- Execute asphalt/concrete paving and surface prep
- Implement strict OSHA safety protocols on all sites
- Lead crew operations during emergency response scenarios
- Maintain accurate daily project documentation and reports
- Coordinate with engineering teams for technical specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works/construction labor experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Experience with GPS survey equipment and blueprints
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Arizona Water/Wastewater Operator certification preferred
- Emergency response training/certification a plus
