Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for infrastructure projects
- Perform asphalt/concrete repair and street maintenance
- Install and maintain storm drainage systems
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce OSHA standards
- Coordinate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Lead crew members during complex installations
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy civil construction experience
- Valid Arizona Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to operate 5+ types of heavy equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Emergency response certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
