Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Design, architect, and implement scalable web applications and APIs using modern frameworks like React and Spring.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UI/UX designers, and policy experts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct and participate in rigorous code reviews.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure all development practices comply with state and federal data privacy regulations.
- Agile Leadership: Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance and optimize application speed and reliability for high-traffic government portals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a full-stack environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#; strong experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and SQL databases.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Government Experience: Familiarity with government contracting or public sector systems is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
