Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features on schedule.
- Conduct code reviews, perform rigorous testing, and debug complex issues to ensure system reliability and security.
- Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making to ensure scalability and performance.
- Adhere to strict compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA) throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably within a government or enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
