Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex network solutions and virtualization environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software development and data analytics projects.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and conduct disaster recovery drills.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and government compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
