Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive state data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network hardware and software to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and provide innovative IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to prevent downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSE are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (background check required).
