Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization environments (Hyper-V).
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, ensuring compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and DOD standards.
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and application failures.
- Perform regular system patching, updates, and backups to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that meet evolving Federal requirements.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate potential cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration within a Federal, State, or Government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
