As part of our IT division, you will be responsible for maintaining our critical infrastructure and supporting state-wide operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization environments, and network systems.
- Oversee system security protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new software solutions and upgrades.
- Conduct regular system audits and generate detailed reports on system health and security.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between state facilities.
