Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's servers, network infrastructure, and workstations.
- Implement and enforce security policies to protect federal data assets (NIST 800-171 compliance).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
- Perform system patching, updates, and disaster recovery planning.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Document system configurations and maintain technical knowledge bases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within the federal or defense sector.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with ITIL service management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to government stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
