Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain servers, databases, and network infrastructure during off-peak hours.
- Perform 24/7 monitoring, patching, and system backups to ensure data integrity and security.
- Respond to and resolve critical technical incidents and service tickets escalated from day shifts.
- Ensure strict compliance with state security protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system configurations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
