Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions and system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee system upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all systems comply with state regulations, security protocols, and data privacy laws.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to end-users and junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, IT consulting, or software development.
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management lifecycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is highly preferred.
