Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain complex government IT systems and network architectures in compliance with federal standards.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems meet strict cybersecurity protocols and regulatory requirements, including NIST and FISMA.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time and within budget, coordinating with stakeholders in New York and Los Angeles.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance to junior staff and end-users across the Long Beach facility.
- Data Analysis: Analyze system performance data to identify trends and optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis or network engineering within the public sector or large enterprise.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification is required; PMP certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and travel to regional sites as needed.
